WALL PADDING

When courts have minimal run off around them, wall padding is essential for player safety.

Padding options are Essential Wall Padding (50mm) or Fire Retardant Stadia Wall Padding (50mm)

• Each pad panel is 610mm wide and 1830mm high 
• Mounted onto OSB wooden panels so will not sag
• 50mm high density polyurethane foam 
• Heavy duty polyester laminated vinyl cover
  
• Attached via a concealed aluminium screwing track on the wall and back of the pad
• Or can be attached to the wall permanently via a specific nailing/screwing strip across the top and bottom of the pad
• Easy to clean
• Variants available to suit corners, alcoves etc 
• Custom cutting and fitting of pads can be done on site to ensure proper fit
• Widely known as the best wall pads available with exceptional quality

COLUMN PADDING

Most sports halls these days have large steel UC columns (RSJ or I Beams) and these are deadly when players impact on them. HiTech Sports have a range of custom made pads which fit over the flange on the face of the column.

WPRSJ Pads 
Similar to the wall pads but narrower, using the same OSB board, 50mm thick foam and heavy duty vinyl.

• Pads are 1800mm high and normally mounted 100-150mm above the floor which will give an effective height of 1.95m so will clear any surface water or floor sweeping, cleaning and scrubbing machines.
• As standard they are 50mm wider than the column and are attached via hidden velcro strips.
• Will only cover the face of the column not the sides.
• Keeping within a maximum width of 630mm, U or L shape variants are possible.
• Easy to clean.
• Variants available to suit corners, alcoves, braces etc
• Custom cutting and fitting of pads can be done on site to ensure proper fit.
• Widely known as the best column pads available with exceptional quality.

Custom Columns Pads 
As every building is different with different widths or depths of these columns and different levels of risk so therefore custom padding is often required. Pads can be made to suit UC columns (RSJ or I Beams), square or round posts. Several different methods are available to fully enclose in the pads including the sides to wrap around 2-3-4 sides.

• Higher heights are possible.
• Padding thickness can vary from 30-100mm depending on risk and size.
• Easy to clean.
• Variants available to suit corners, alcoves braces, windows, doors, etc
• Custom cutting and fitting of pads can be done on site to ensure proper fit.
• Widely known as the best wall pads available with exceptional quality.

POST PADDING

HiTech Sports can pad any post from a small round 42mm post up to a largest post imaginable.
Netball posts, volleyball posts, badminton posts, basketball posts, rugby posts, AFL posts, football posts, futsal posts, veranda posts, pergola posts, shade structure posts, daycare centre posts from round to square and any other shape you have.

Using high density open cell foam in our heavy duty vinyl in any of our colours.

All we need is the height you require, the post shape, post diameter, and the level risk determines the foam density thickness. And if there any obstruction’s or obstacles on or around the post.

Using 50mm full length velcro, the pads will not balloon out and will keep their shape. Although initially tight, they will settle over time and learn to remain in their new shape.

CUSTOM PADDING

This is our speciality, CUSTOM PADDING. We can pad anything else in all shapes and sizes from stairwells, handrails, diagonal bracing, stage fronts, wall corners, hose reels, etc. Just need a few photos and certain dimensions.

 

 

BASKETBALL BACKBOARD PADDING

Our stadia basketball backboard pads are up to FIBA standard and is the same pad used on FIBA certified basketball backstops. Double sided and 50mm thick bolted to FIBA size standard backboards either in steel or aluminium. 

 

 

SANDPIT AND SPORT COURT PADDING

Help protect your children’s playing area with one of our custom-made covers. Manufactured from quality industrial grade materials such as Polymesh or Supermesh. Ideal for daycare centres especially after hours risks of animals using the pits or rubbish landing inside exposing a danger to their users.

We can also provide covers for long jump pits, beach volleyball courts or any other area you require covered.
