Images: The FIBA 3 x 3 World Tour season continues in Rio de Janeiro at the end of September before the 3 x 3 World Tour Championships are played in Tokyo/Sendai, Japan the 2nd weekend of October.
As summer in the northern hemisphere winds down, 3 x 3 season continues with some fantastic recent World Tour events held in Chicago, Prague, and Lausanne and the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China in August.
In Chicago, the event was held on the beach of beautiful Lake Michigan, with a Sport Court® Sport Base™ portable sub-base installed directly in the sand. The event in Nanjing’s Youth Olympic Game’s marks Sport Court’s 2nd partnership with the IOC after having been the official surface in the 2010 YOG in Singapore. 3 x 3 remains on schedule to be included in future Olympic Games as an official sport under the basketball discipline.
