HiTech Sports has been busy lately replacing old indoor basketball systems at a few schools recently after they have seen our robust FIBA certified systems and were concerned with their old recreation systems on how old they were hanging above their students heads by cables and old fittings. It is a requirement from FIBA that basketball systems cannot be supported by cables or ropes, that is why we use break arm technology, the same technology used on aircraft land gear. Any piece of structure has a life span and as we know how it is built depends on how long it will last.
As school sports become more competitive, competition standard equipment is important to these young sportsman as they play better on the equipment that the top competition use around the world. But paramount, student and player safety is extremely important and there is no compromise.
