10 years ago, HiTech Sports started as a business from scratch in a small downstairs home office. HiTech has now moved into an office/warehouse to accommodate team expansion and provide much-needed equipment storage.
Seeing the lack of innovation and accreditation in sports equipment available at the time, with most equipment not even meeting the specifications or rules of their sport. HiTech Sports sought to change this by supplying and installing internationally certified high-end sports equipment, new innovative designs and providing great customer service.
Now we have schools using FIBA Certified Basketball Backstops, lighter and safer aluminium Netball, Volleyball, Badminton posts and Futsal and Hockey goals. Innovative court dividing curtains and fire-rated wall pads along with FIBA Certified wireless scoreboards & shot clocks.
We have a fantastic relationship with our customers after completing hundreds of installations at many private and state schools as well as clubs and large council sports centres across QLD, WA, SA and NT. The biggest 5-6 court sports arenas in Brisbane, Perth, Darwin and Adelaide have been fitted out by HiTech Sports.
The Queensland Commonwealth Games in 2018 was a highlight. HiTech Sports supplied all the Basketball Backstops and Beach Volleyball equipment at all the CG2018 venues and training facilities.
A massive thanks to our awesome team at Action Venue Systems for their hard work installing our equipment since 2010, our long term supply partners around the world, many of whom have been with us since the start, and our special friends at Southern Cross Sports, (Roger) RMA Sports, Aura Sport, Gared Sports, Schelde Sports and Xperion with whom we have loved sharing the journey so far!
2020, with all of its challenges so far, is still shaping up as an incredible year with some amazing projects, new products to be seen and announcements to come.
